Thank you to Jesus in Sakura for super friendly and very welcoming service. Same with Oman at Sens pool bar who has good memory of my fave drink. I booked this hotel cause it’s the cheapest “8/10” reviews in booking.com during spring break. Every else is fully book or expensive. I don’t wanna stay in hotels with less than 8 score. Plus the place didn’t look overwhelmingly big. So it didn’t feel like it’s crowded. The Sens is next to Oasis Palm. They have their own amenities but you have access to both. They are both part of Oasis chain. Wifi signal is great. I don’t know why it has a poor review. Maybe others didn’t know how to set it up since you needed to download and log in their app first (using your roaming data) before you could generate your wifi password. Which the concierge should have help it get done first before sending us to our rooms, but we managed. The app is superb. It has everything that you needed to know, dress code, shows, restaurants (amazingly numerous). I honestly don’t understand why the reviews didn’t agree much with the food. They are all good. Sakura maybe not much but they have shows. The reviews also said that they don’t have much pool/beach chairs, which did not bother me cause I came here to swim, eat and enjoy the whole place not just to sit around sun bathing. But if you really want one and hate waking up early to reserve a spot then best time to look for one is at around 3pm onwards. People are mostly lining up for lunch so there’s usually available beach chairs. There’s also a review complaining about black out curtain, they actually have it, maybe they just didn’t know how to use it IDK. It’s a 5star hotel but the review says it doesn’t feel like it since it has a lot of stuff that needs replacing. I think they’re referring to the minor hardwares like the elevator, the button metal plate looks cheap since it was not durable. it has holes like missing pieces because somebody decided to poke their fingers around the...

Having read some of the negative reviews of this venue, it nearly put us off going but my wife suggested we should give it a go and I am glad we did. We are a couple without children, which is important for this review. Fundamentally, The Sens is aimed at families and it's important to understand this before you book. A lot of the negative reviews are about lots of kids running around everywhere, well yes there will be, it's a family all inclusive. We both felt that the venue had done enough to provide some additional areas and restaurants/bars to cater for those without children and also had some adult only areas. There is an extensive selection of restaurants, we were there a week and did not get around to eating at them all. In addition there is a good quality buffet restaurant which in our opinion provided good (but not exceptional) food for all. Again, this was primarily for families and got very busy at peak times with significant queues. We just adjusted our times to get around that. The restaurants required booking in advance but actually it was not difficult with the app and we were never disappointed. I guess the process won't please everyone, but it actually worked efficiently. The facilities are clean, with constant maintenance being carried out on the place. We felt it was unfair of people to make comments that it was "run down and old".....that is not true. There was loads of variety at The Sens, the staff were well organized and polite (rather than friendly) and provided a good quality and value for money holiday for us. I would like to also mention, that we were in Cancun for a wedding and needed to move to a luxury all inclusive after our stay at The Sens. This luxury venue was over twice the price of The Sens.

Clean , good food and nice service . The beach is lovely ,a little seaweed but crystal clear water . The food is very good .... I went last year and they made some changes, for the better . Everyone must stop complaining about the line ups , go eat earlier .... if you go at the busiest hour ....yes you will wait To eat . There are small imperfections ... we are on Vacation chill ! The food was tasty ? The drinks were good ! Have an amazing time .... will go again with my kids ! Coming from a World Traveler . Grab some beach chairs earlier .... if you wake up at 10-11 am you won't find any this happens in most resorts . Can't wait to go back !

The pool and the beach setup was really good. The bar and the food at the beach and pool was also great, you can just be in the pool or beach all day without needing to leave. Staff is friendly and helpful. For dinner, the buffet is always available, but if you plan to have dinner at their gourmet restaurants (there are many options) you need to book at the concierge for each dinner. But we found the food at these restaurants nothing extraordinary, you won't miss much if you're having the buffet. The buffet is pretty good actually!

We loved that the property Nextdoor was included too. The pools were large and the beach access is perfect distance. The outdoor lunch options were great for the kids who didn’t want to leave the water. The were many events and activities geared towards the kids and their own entire pool/pool area! There were many other families there for the kids to play with. It is gated and have security checking every car that comes it. Not in “downtown” area so no noise but close enough to easily get to by Uber.
